Régime des Fleurs | "Personal/Space"
Yes, okay, it’s officially fall now, and as I type, the ever-clear Los Angeles sky is tumultuous and gray, ready for rain — but that doesn’t mean we have to let go of our tropical summer spirit!
Friends and fragrant-fanatics Ezra Woods and Alia Raza are the creators of Régime des Fleurs, a fresh and sharp perfumery that creates scents that emulate the essences of objects from nature. The scents from their newest line, “Personal/Space” radiate island vibes with their neon colors and tropical smells. Waves, Falls, Shells, Leis, and Vines are all vehicles for transportation to somewhere perfectly summery, and are meant to add a new layer of extraordinariness to your skin and to the air around you.
We recently got our hands on samples from “Personal/Space” and were absolutely enamored with the scents Régime des Fleurs managed to bottle in such classic and cute frosty vessels. The scents are inspired by Woods and Raza’s month spent in Oahu in 2016, but somehow emits familiar smells of all walks of summer.
Leis is floral and fresh, and gives off the sweet and youthful scent of the a girly bedroom in July, cluttered with plucked flowers and colorful jelly bracelets.
Shells, a Flaunt favorite, is sweet, like Leis, but also slightly tart and woody, like a plethora of freshly cut fruit. Vines is the perfect recreation of earthy foliage, lush, damp, and musky, with a hint of fig and overripe citrus. Waves is the clean, crisp scent of the ocean, of course, frothy and saline bottled in blue. Finally, Falls, the other favorite in the Flaunt office, is tropical and masculine, conjuring the image of cold, rushing water.
So, is summer really over? Not really, if Régime des Fleurs can help it.
