In Milan for Design Week with Studio Job and Disaronno
We headed to Milan for the cocktail of inspiration that was Milan Design Week, and ducked and wove through the dizzying maelstrom of furnishings, fixtures, and unfettered inventive flair that characterizes the city’s Design Week takeover. Favorite amongst the literal cocktails imbibed amidst all this inspiration, were a grip (or two) of Disaronno Sours, specially prepared in a unique Design Week mason jar created for Disaronno by the acclaimed Dutch designers Studio Job.

The week took in many highlights including a delicious Disaronno Dinner series that kicked off inside the incredible aesthetics of The Small restaurant near Corso Buenos Aires (where the tiramisu was mind-blowing). The next night we headed to an unhinged knees up at the five-star Principe di Savoia, before on the third night we chomped on a luxurious feast in the uber-chic stylings of Carlo & Camilla in Segheria. Delicious Disaronno sours accompanied us at all stops (we like ours with an egg white)!

During the week we also took in an amazing tour of the Fondazione Prada, where we fell in love with the work of Goshka Macuga, and on our final night, we headed to the Design Pride parade, where atop the Disaronno/Studio Job-styled float we jived through the ancient streets of Milan, bidding farewell to a week both well-lived, and beautifully designed.
