Minister of The Airwaves: RODNEY BINGENHEIMER
Rodney Bingenheimer has often been described as “the soul of KROQ,” Los Angeles’ famed rock radio station. As the host of the radio show Rodney on the Roq since the mid-seventies, he is credited with being one of the first American radio DJs to give airtime to bands such as The Cure, Nirvana, Blondie, and Guns N’ Roses. Bingenheimer received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007.

Richard Branson is an English business tycoon best known as the founder of Virgin Group which includes Virgin Records, Virgin Atlantic, and Virgin Megastores, to name a few. He was knighted in 2000 by Prince Charles for his “services to entrepreneurship.” A bold adventurer, Branson has attempted and succeeded in many world records, including ballooning, and high-speed boat journeys. Forbes estimates his net worth at five billion dollars.

Gordon Ramsay is the British culinary mastermind whose restaurants have won 16 prestigious Michelin stars. Dividing his time between London and L.A., Ramsay has been the host of several highly successful television cooking shows, including Masterchef and Hell’s Kitchen.

Receiving a Ph.D. in particle physics from Caltech at the age of 20, Stephen Wolfram is the London-born computer scientist, physicist, and entrepreneur behind the Mathematica software platform, and the Wolfram|Alpha computational engine—one of the answer engines underpinning Apple’s Siri, and Microsoft’s Bing.

Angelyne is an American actress, model, singer, and most recently, an artist. Often touted as “famous for being famous,” her notoriety is largely due to the many billboards of herself she commissioned in Los Angeles in the late ʼ80s. The main trademark of her celebrity is her pink Corvette.

Los Angeles-based composer and trumpeter Jon Hassell created “Fourth World,” a music style that draws attention to opposing genres of music. The classically trained, long-time Brian Eno collaborator has had his trumpet playing featured in several major motion pictures.

Minister of Bag Ladies: LULU GUINNESS
Lucinda “Lulu” Guinness is a British fashion accessories designer best known for her distinctive trademark red lips clutch. Her iconic bag “The Florist’s Basket” is in the permanent fashion collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. In 2006 she was awarded an Order of the British Empire from the Queen for her services to the fashion industry.
