Formations is the latest installation for the duo behind the Objects of Common Interests project, Eleni Petaloti and Leonidas Trampoukis. The project focuses on the creation of still life installations and experiential environments and objects.

The installation's freestanding, small-scale, powder-coated steel pieces are cartoon-like and reminiscent of Tetris tiles, though the choppy pieces are far curvier and three-dimensional. The curled and bent pieces of Formations are meant to form an ambiguous seating arrangement, inviting viewer to actively engage with the art. Each element maintains it’s own gravitas, but the individual's pieces to come together visually in their common space, creating a balancing expression.

Formations will be exhibited during the Art Athina Fair 2018 at the Athens Conservatoire building the in Athens, Greece.
