T-Pain to Leave The Auto-Tune At Home For His Highly Anticipated Acoustic Tour
Be prepared to hear auto-tune legend, T-Pain go auto-tuneless this fall during his Acoustic Tour this fall. The idea for this tour was inspired by T-Pain’s memorable NPR Tiny Desk Concert where he proved that he could go au-natural and note without the help of sound effects.
If you haven’t heard it, give it a listen; We promise you won’t be sorry. In this 13-minute soulful performance, the artist performs hits like “Buy U A Drank” and “Up Down” alongside a keyboard that is guaranteed to leave you with goosebumps. T-Pain told NPR, "The love and respect I've received from my NPR performance has not only shown a different side of me to fans, but it also has introduced me to a whole different set of fans.” I don’t know about you, but I’m all for listening to the acoustic version of “I'm N Luv (Wit a Stripper)."
The six-day tour is scheduled to begin October 4 in San Francisco and ends October 30 in Washington, D.C. Tickets are expected to go live August 25 on Tpain’s website.
