Brooklyn's Own Joey Bada$$ dropped a new music video for his recent single, "Temptations," off of his album, All Amerikkkan Bada$$, on Tidal this morning (August 14). The video first premiered at the Sundance Next Fest on Saturday before the screening of Justin Chon's Sundance Award winning film, "Gook." Joey's video sets the tone for the film as they both explore similar themes of racism and police brutality.

Joey Bada$$ and co-director Nathan R. Smith, managed to bring warm, summer Brooklyn vibes to a song that touches on heavy issues prevalent in the Black community. The video begins with scenes of kids having a good time and playing around the house, to outside the house, where Joey is hand-in-hand with a little girl strolling through the neighborhood.

They soon arrive at a summer backyard kickback where Joey performs his song until the cops come by to shut it down. The video starts and ends inside of a church, where we hear 9-year-old Charlotte, North Carolina native, Zianna Oliphant, recite her speech in a council meeting days after Keith Lamont Scott died after being shot by a police officer.

Joey is currently in the middle of touring the U.S. with Logic on his Everybody tour.
