On the screen he is known as Donald Glover. Un the stage however, he is known as Childish Gambino. The versatile performer has just announced plans for a Fall tour. The outting will support his third album, Awaken, My Love!, which was released all the way back in December of 2016. Since its release, Gambino has not performed a proper concert much since dropping that album. he rocked at the Governor’s Ball at this year's Grammy Awards, and a surprise set at for Adidas in Los Angeles during NBA All Star Weekend. Now, over a year after My Love!, Gambino has finally decided to clear time in his demanding schedule to give the fans what they have been dying for: soulful live renditions of “Redbone” and more gems from his catalog.

Gambino/Glover has spent a lot of time over that tour-less year starring as an actor. Glover has worked on Spider-Man: Homecoming, Atlanta, Solo: A Star Wars Story and The Lion King. It is clear that Glover and Gambino don’t mind sharing their schedules.

Gambino will soon set out on a thirteen date North American arena tour with the support of rap duo, Rae Sremmurd. The duo, composed of Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee (known for his melodic role on French Montana’s hit record “Unforgettable”), has been blowing up the charts since their arrival to the rap scene in 2014. Their viral hit, “Black Beatles,” even inspired the likes of Paul McCartney to try their Mannequin Challenge.

Gambino is rumored to also be working on a fourth and final album before he retires his stage persona. Will Gambino introduce Glover to the music scene, or will he stick to staying on acting an directing? The future is a bit hazy for the artist, but it is clear that there is still plenty ahead for him.
