Little Dragon, the critically-acclaimed Scandinavian luminaries, released a new EP on November 9th titled _Lover Chanting_. And while the quartet has already released five studio albums since their inception in 1996, this marks their first ever EP, dropped via Ninja Tune.

According to lead singer Yukimi Nagano, the EP is rooted in “the force of love. Not only between two people but the force of love in the universe as the ultimate ecstasy. Whether that is while you’re dancing at a disco, forgetting where you are, or just staring at the moon on a clear night, it can be anything.”
The EP errs on transient, showcasing the passage of time for a band already well-established in their (sometimes unpredictable) demeanor. It incorporates an evolution of music, something of an electronic uprising seen more and more as we trudge deeper into the digital age of musical creation.
Little Dragon will be playing two shows in Los Angeles: one tonight, November 9th, at Amoeba Music in Hollywood, and another tomorrow, November 10th, at the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival.
