It'll be truly groundbreaking to see the two collaborate in the _Black Klansman_. The film is based on a 1970s true story of Black Colorado detective Ron Stallworth, who found his way to becoming a leader in his local KKK chapter by pretending to be white supremacist while keeping all forms of communication with the Klan through phone or written routes. And, when the time came for his in-person presence, Stallworth recruited a fellow white detective to assist him. Stallworth managed to disrupt and dismantle cross burnings and other hateful KKK activities. John David Washington, Denzel Washington's son and co-star of HBO's "Ballers," is rumored to be in negotiation with makers of the film to star as Detective Stallworth. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates on the Black Klansman. * * * Written by Kelly An
