Last night, the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art celebrated its 10th anniversary during Art Basel in Switzerland with a cocktail party at Les Trois Rois hosted by Dasha Zhukova. The room was illuminated with a crowd of Art list musts including Rem Koolhaas, Klaus Biesenbach, Olympia Scarry, Stavros Niarchos, and Vito Schnabel to name a few. The crowd was treated to a DJ set by Virgil Abloh. This evening also saw Garage celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Museum building, as well as the 90th year of Gorky Park where the museum is located. To commemorate this milestone, Garage has been hosting a series of events including, guided tours, live performances, classes for children and adults, and much more. The current show is _Zittern_ _auf_ _dem Sofa_ by Juergen Teller, a project built around soccer as well as old and new works by the German photographer. Located in Moscow, Garage is dedicated to providing new ideas, exhibitions, and knowledge about Russian culture and society through the works of contemporary art.
