Gabbriette Bechtel | Photo Exhibition
In front or behind the lens, Gabbriette Bechtel is a true star. And not just the glint and glitter kind of star, but that red hot, burning blaze kind of star.
Southern California model, photographer, and multi-talented cool girl Gabbriette Bechtel recently hosted a photo exhibition to launch her limited capsule collection with Junk Food Clothing.
The photo exhibition, as a part of the launch, does not come as a brand new venture. Gabriette has previously shot digital stories for V Magazine and Vogue.com. Her collaboration with Junk Food Clothing comes on the heels of a wide range of work: a successful modeling career, working for brands like Nike and Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty, dancing for producer and Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes, and starring in the short film “Ok Prove It” (2016) by Illegal Civilization. Characterized as a taking on many creative roles, these scratch the surface of Bechtel’s rap sheet.
The launch with Junk Food Clothing was celebrated with a party and photo show at Tees and Jeans in Los Angeles. Featuring performances by Lucas Bin, Michael Rosales, and Frank(ie). Those who attended the launch received a limited edition zine which included exclusive photos by Gabbriette and artwork by Davidenth. The collection consists of bodysuits, tops, and accessories featuring various prints. Bechtel’s own photography is was incorporated into graphic T-shirts, while her tattoos were used as inspiration for embroidery on some of the pieces in the collection.
The collection is available at junkfoodclothing.com
