Tommy Hilfiger and Julien's Auctions Connect for Furniture Sale Benefitting Austism Speaks
From the paparazzi shouting "who is she" as little ol' me arrived sporting shiny pink slippers—to the champagne served in a crystal flute and placed in my hand as I entered the gallery: everything about last night (Oct. 19) shouted "class" and "celebrity."
When I hear Tommy Hilfiger my mind goes straight to clothes, so I was surprised to find mostly furniture. Items such as an Irish mahogany billiard table, Tommy Hilfiger signed Gibson guitar, images on Iman and David Bowie, Christian Dior tray tables, and plenty more are available. All the pieces are from Hilfiger's private collection and the proceeds will benefit Autism Speaks.
I joined fashionistas, designers, influencers, and Hilfiger's family and friends, at Julien's Auctions in West Hollywood, for the reception and live auction. Friends of Hilfiger's such like Kris Jenner, Lisa Rinna, and Quincy Jones came to admire the pieces, mingle, and play dress up at the Frankie Collective Tommy Hilfiger vintage pop up shop.
The vibe was elegant yet casual. All the guests mingled, laughed, and shared an appreciation for cocktails, ahi tuna, and a good cause.
Check out images above and don't miss the auction, which you can join in person or online, this Saturday, October 21st.
