Paris Fashion Week started off with a bang. Saint Laurent decided to do an evening fashion show right under the Eiffel Tower— setting the bar high as usual. The venue (the Fountain of Trocadero) paired with stadium seating and lighting, undeniably made the spring/summer 2018 show the event of the season.

The Eiffel Tower was dazzling moments leading up to the show and smoke covered the start of the catwalk as models began to emerge. Creative director of Saint Laurent, Anthony Vaccarello, designed a collection and filled it with a mix of dramatic pouf silhouettes, fringe, embellished pieces, and extraordinary leather.

Vaccarello kept Saint Laurent's signature fashion goth element while incorporating sexiness into every design. Whether it be from the collection itself or the scenery, Saint Laurent unequivocally put together the most breathtaking shows of the season.
