For the first edition of Flaunt's newest segment, Closet Visits, we had the pleasure of interviewing the next pop-sensation PRETTYMUCH. The five-person boy band includes vocalists Nick Mara, Brandon Arreaga, Edwin Honoret, Austin Porter, and Zion Kuwonu.

The clique was formed by Simon Cowell, signed to his label Syco and Columbia Records just last year and have since debuted their single, “Would You Mind” weeks ago. This month they're MTV’s Push: Artist to Watch and in November they'll be on tour, opening for duo Jack & Jack.

Flaunt met up with the boys at their home in Los Angeles to talk fashion and get the inside scoop on what it takes to be young, fly and fabulous in Hollywood. The men of PRETTYMUCH discussed stealing clothes, style inspirations, Nike Air Force 1s, and more--all found below in our exclusive interview:

Do you guys borrow or steal each other’s clothes?

AUSTIN: Yes, all the time. Then we have to go and steal our clothes back.

Who takes the longest to get ready?

ALL: Nick!

Austin's favorite pieces: graphic tees and jackets, and PF Fylers because of his love of Sandlot as a kid.

AUSTIN: Nick, because he spends hours on his phone and then decides to get ready when we’re all about to leave, so we have to wait for him.

NICK: Guilty...

Nick's love of sports is incorporated throughout his clothing. There's lots of Supreme jerseys, Champion hoodies, and as you can see, he's a sucker for Puff Daddy's Bad Boy.

Who inspires your style?

NICK: Honestly, I look at Chris Brown's everyday style. His stage clothes are dope, but I like more of his everyday street clothes. He’s always dressing casual, but fly at the same time. But, I really think that what you wear is all about confidence. Your outfit is 75% confidence and 25% the physical clothes.

ZION: I was hoping you would mess up the math…

NICK: [Laughs] I almost did.

Zion describes himself as the "hat man" and shows that his favorite pieces were chosen to reflect how he dresses for comfort.

Where do you shop?

ALL: Round Two.

EDWIN: Usually we shop at Opening Ceremony, and Wasteland for vintage thrifting too.

A favorite outfit of Nick's: Mr. Completely hoodie, ripped jeans, and, of course, his favorite Air Jordans.

What do you wear on a lazy day?

NICK: On a lazy day, honestly you’re looking at it. Baggy sweatpants, t-shirt and flannel, and some Nikes. Even in sweats on a lazy day, I make a point to not look like a bum.

What is a piece of clothing that you’ll never get rid of?

BRANDON: One thing I will always keep, definitely the Old Skool Vans. If I need to pack and only need a few pairs of shoes, I’ll always bring these because you can wear them with anything really. With socks, no-show socks, black, white, or color, I can always make them work.

Brandon likes to make his outfits innovative and fun. Here he shows a chain and clip he bought and made into a statement belt himself.

What is your go-to outfit?

AUSTIN: Jeans of any kind, Converse or Old Skool Vans, and a graphic or collared shirt.

Do you guys ever accidentally wear the same clothes?

Edwin's a self proclaimed "fanny pack fanatic." He loves to match a fanny pack to every outfit.

EDWIN: Oh yeah, but whoever put it on first gets to wear it.

AUSTIN: It’s a battle to the death. Whoever is still alive gets to wear the outfit.

BRANDON: I’ll put something on and if I see one of the boys--say Edwin--already has on one of the same clothing pieces, I’ll go back and change.

Do you have any favorite designers or brands you hope to get dressed by?

BRANDON: [Sings] Gucci.

ALL: Yeah

Here are some of Edwin's favorite clothing pieces. He likes to mix high fashion with affordable looks. You can usually find Edwin wearing a simple outfit with one statement piece. And, obviously, a fanny pack.

EDWIN: I love me some Balenciaga and Gucci, but Virgil [Abloh] is doing amazing right now on Uzi’s campaign, so Off-White definitely.

AUSTIN: Hit me with that RIPNDIP, and Thrasher and I’ll be happy.

ZION: Can’t forget Supreme.

EDWIN: I love our stylist; she doesn’t really tell us what to wear.

BRANDON: Yeah, she gives us options and we get to pick and then we both agree we like an outfit.

Brandon's go-to performance look.
