Otis Students Amaze at the 35th annual Scholarship Benefit and Fashion Show

On Saturday night the Otis College of Art and Design held its 35th annual Scholarship Benefit and Fashion Show at the luxurious Beverly Hilton Hotel. The event started with an energetic cocktail reception and silent auction before a three course dinner and was followed by a beautiful fashion show incorporating a wide variety of styles and talents, each created by the talented students at Otis through collaboration with their seasoned mentors.

One student was awarded the Best Design Award from each individual collection, while student designer Joanna Rubalcaba took home the 2017 Designer of the Year award at the end of the night. It was a testament to Otis's quality as an institution and the talent of their students, as well as the dedication to improvement and support for young voices that both Otis and their alumni exhibit.

The money raised from the ticket sales for the event goes toward funding for the promising young artists and designers who would be unable to complete their education without this support.
