They asked and they finally recieved. For years devoted Aaliyah fans eagerly pushed makeup mega company, [MAC](http://www.maccosmetics.com/) [Cosmetics](#) to launch a limited edition line as a way to, [“reintroduce Aaliyah's legacy to the world in a format that it has never been given before.”](https://www.change.org/p/mac-cosmetics-estee-lauder-to-release-a-aaliyah-for-mac-limited-edition-collection-aaliyahformac) After countless years of petitions, dedicated social media accounts, Aaliyah fans can rest easily knowing that their efforts are being rewarded with a MAC collection set to launch in 2018.
On the 16th anniversary of the R&B singer’s death, MAC took to their [instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/BYLdzglB9pD/?taken-by=maccosmetics) to officially announce a collection is on the way stating, “Aaliyah is truly one in a million — an unstoppable icon whose groundbreaking work in R&B music and film inspires us all. Today we join her countless fans in celebrating her with the announcement of the M·A·C Aaliyah collection. You made it happen! Stay tuned in 2018.“
There are no known details about the collection as of now, but we are sure you can expect pieces of Aaliyah most iconic looks sprinkled throughout the collection.
