Gucci Releases Cruise 2018 Campaign Titled 'Roman Rhapsody'

This year for the release of the 2018 Cruise campaign, Gucci decided to emphasize an alternative perspective, bringing in legendary British photographer [Mick Rock](http://www.flaunt.com/content/art/rock-will-roll?rq=mick%20rock) to shoot the project. Following Gucci’s recent Tailoring campaign featuring Dapper Dan, the Italian label doesn't sleep and released “Roman Rhapsody” today. This year Gucci takes a journey to Rome—home city to Creative Director [Alessandro Michele](http://www.flaunt.com/search?q=alessandro%20michele&f_collectionId=587fe9d4d2b857e5d49ca782)—  bringing a casual yet glam atmosphere by casting normal residents enacting in their daily life. Mick Rock captures the essence of regularity by shooting in simple scenery like apartments and local gardens throughout Rome. By capturing the characters in naturalistic backgrounds, it allows their alluring personalities show in the series. Gucci states, “This is a portfolio that celebrates genuine non-conformists and eccentrics.” Iconic British photographer Mick Rock— also known as the man who shot the '70s— is known for his work with legendary rock stars. He has worked with some of the greatest names in the industry such as David Bowie, The Sex Pistols, Lady Gaga, The Killers, and more.
