Calling it the new era of Givenchy, the fashion house decided to take a turn from the mainstream by bringing in new notions for design. Keller stated before the show, “I want people to think that was completely unexpected.”  Image via Givenchy ![Image via Givenchy](https://assets-global.website-files.com/62ee0bbe0c783a903ecc0ddb/6472af9a120beb132ae9c2d5_Screen%2BShot%2B2017-10-02%2Bat%2B3.48.26%2BPM.png) Image via Givenchy * * * The show this year was held at Paris’s Palais de Justice and showcased both womenswear and menswear. The front row included talent such as Rooney Mara, Julianne Moore, Lily Collins, HAIM, and more.  The theme of the show was “Transformation Seduction” pertaining to a lover's tryst and Parisian allure—building on the power of duality. Keller stood along the lines of Hubert de [Givenchy’s](http://www.flaunt.com/search?q=givenchy&f_collectionId=587fe9d4d2b857e5d49ca782) original concepts and his palette of black, navy, and white. The spring/summer 2018 collection featured exotic prints, asymmetrical stripes, and bright florals. There was an intimate connection between the genders of clothing, both womenswear and menswear included similar silhouettes and patterns. From the black and white lace to the leather trench coats Clare Waight Keller succeeded in reimagining the fashion house. * * * Written by Alex Ceballos Images via Givenchy
