Céline Teams Up With Maxfield to Celebrate the Release of Their Pre-Fall 2017 Collection

Céline and Maxfield: two storied icons of fashion and retail. One an anchor of French couture since the 1940's; the other hailing from fashion upstart Los Angeles, where Maxfield introduced an innovative approach to luxury retail and quickly became L.A's first true fashion mecca.
On June 1st these two forces converged here in L.A. for an exclusive launch and exhibition of Céline's Pre-Fall 17 collection. As always at Maxfield, the facilities were as beautiful and innovative as the pieces featured within – in this case the exhibition took place in the striking Prouvé Structure Nomade at Maxfield in Los Angeles, a recently installed replica of the famous French architect Jean Prouvé's bold design for a mobile museum.
To further celebrate the collaboration between the two fashion titans, Céline created two handbag styles in exclusive colorways: the Trotteur in Plum Grained Calfskin and the Medium Frame in Jade & Bright Red Shiny Smooth Calfskin, available exclusively at Maxfield. A bevy of stars from the fashion world and elsewhere were in attendance.
The exhibition will be on display from June 1st – 11th.
