The A$AP Mob member is readying his second collaboration with Adidas Skateboarding, as he launches his new collection on September 1. Inspired by Ferg’s own Trap Lord clothing line, his assortment with Adidas features a t-shirt, collared polo shirt, hat, windbreaker and two color ways (including 1 exclusive color way with Zumiez) of the classic Adidas Matchcourt skateboarding silhouette.  In terms of inspiration for the collection, Ferg tells FLAUNT that the vision of the line was inspired a documentary he's seen.  "The inspiration came from a movie I've seen, it's called _Children of the Underground_," he says. "It's about poor children who ran away from home and they live underground in a tunnel. They wear mix-match clothes, like that's their style because they can't afford new clothes or clothes that match. They wear whatever they can get their hands on and I was inspired by the style and how they were dressing." Along with the new clothing collab, Ferg's been cranking out music this month. Releasing his _Still Striving_ album a few weeks back, the project offers a look into the fun and charismatic personality of A$AP Ferg. “I did this album as an outlet to have fun. I was coming off tour, I had logged out of the studio for about two months, and all my friends, we got in the studio and worked and vibed out and it came out good. I'm looking forward to touring it.” Plus, with his A$AP collective releasing the second edition of the _Cozy Tapes_ album series last Friday, Ferg’s output has put him, and the entire A$AP Mob at the top of the music and fashion industry at the moment. pasted image 0-1.png ![pasted image 0-1.png](https://assets-global.website-files.com/62ee0bbe0c783a903ecc0ddb/6472aed55e203e765ae7a92b_pasted%2Bimage%2B0-1.png) “We are very instrumental in fashion and style and curating lifestyle, and I think that a lot of kids look up to us when it comes to what to wear next. That’s what we bring to the table. We brought another dynamic to the game as far as style goes.” With all the new music flowing, Ferg is also preparing himself for a fall tour that features the entirety of the A$AP Mob, “plus special guests.” “It’s going to be lit,” he tells me. "I think that this is going to be a huge tour because we haven't seen the whole \[A$AP\] Mob together on road for a long time. It’s going to be a dope and monumental place to be." A$AP Ferg’s solo project _Still Striving_ and A$AP Mob's _Cozy Tapes Vol. 2_ are available in all stores, and be on the lookout for his new adidas collection which releases on Friday. * * * Written by Corey Fuller All images c/o Adidas
