Like all of the cult brand’s spaces, the West Hollywood flagship store’s décor is unique to its location. Featuring custom furniture by Max Lamb and Benoit Lalloz aluminum light fixtures that pop out of the pale acid yellow ceiling and walls, the space’s centerpiece, a Daniel Silver sculpture composed of cashmere-wool fabric featuring bright colored shapes draped over a large-scale aluminum, doubles as the dressing rooms.  All of this incased by floor to ceiling glass walls certainly beautifies the Melrose block. Thursday, March 22nd, on a rare rainy LA night, some of the city's finest came out to toast the store’s opening. The Yola Mezcal mules brightly seasoned by fresh dill and caviar & chips helped along the mental feeling that we might actually be in Sweden. Following your umbrella attendant to the back lot, a mesmerizing performance by Kelsey Lu captivated the audience that included A$AP Rocky, Dev Hynes, Kacy Hill, Kim Gordon, Kelela, Pom Klementieff, Maya Rudoph, Lykke Li, and more. The night was capped off by each guest receiving a Daniel Silver x Acne Studios t-shirt, which features a print of Silver’s work.  If you’re feeling a little left out here not to worry, 100 of the t-shirts will be sold exclusively at the new location.  * * * Written by Britton Litow All photos coutesy of Getty Images
