Frenchie Vincent Fenton, who you know as FKJ (short for French Kiwi Juice), has just dropped another track. This time its with LA-based R&B vocalist and producer Col3trane. It’s called “Perfect Timing,” and is now available from Mom+Pop Music. They’d been in London, where Col3trane is from, chilling – or “vibed out,” as the 19-year-old recalls, in a release. “We just kicked it and he played me a bunch of new music and some beats.” Col3trane x FKJ "Perfect Timing" cover art. ![Col3trane x FKJ "Perfect Timing" cover art.](https://assets-global.website-files.com/62ee0bbe0c783a903ecc0ddb/6472b67de46cbfa3d9e8e882_Col3trane%2Bx%2BFKJ%2BPerfect%2BTiming%2Bcover%2Bart.png) Col3trane x FKJ "Perfect Timing" cover art. FKJ confirms the pair spent most of the time chatting, listening to a bunch of different music. “It feels right getting to know each other rather than trying to make magic happen in such a small time,” said the man named after a hairy fruit beverage, in the presser. “At the end of our session, Col3 took some of my beats home with him.” A week later and then Bam! – out popped “Perfect Timing.” It’s based on FKJ dancehall-inspired production and Col3trane's vox. Col3trane is riding a wave of critical acclaim following his debut album Tsarina, and recently announced that his Heroine EP will come out this Spring. You know you’re not doing to bad when GQ compares you to Frank Ocean and Noisey calls you “intriguing” post-RnB.
