A$AP Rocky, Tyler, the Creator and More Rock at Budweiser's Budland Festival in Los Angeles

Home is where the heart is - and Budweiser has their heart (and breweries) set in 11 different states across the country.

With California being one of those lucky places that the American lager calls home, it’s only natural that Budweiser would host its first-ever Budland Festival in Los Angeles. From July 14 - July 15, Los Angeles natives, transplants, and beer lovers enjoyed two days’ worth of music, food, and fashion. Curated in order to accentuate the vivacity of the city, the event paid homage to LA-based creatives as well as to Budweiser’s unveiling of their summer 2017 packaging, which will feature California and the 10 other states that also hold a piece of the brand’s heart. From now until this September, you can catch this iconic summer packaging on Budweiser bottles and cans in a convenience store near you.

Day 1 featured a surprise performance from Ty Dolla Sign and other performances by Syd, Taco, Buddy, and Roofeeo. Day 2 featured even more surprise performances by A$AP Rocky with ScHoolboy Q and by Tyler the Creator. While attendees jammed to other musical performances including (but not limited to) Virgil Abloh, Guillaume Berg, MixedbyAli, No Vacancy Inn, and Cozy Boys, a pop-up market offered explorations into curated spaces and co-branded merch by Babylon, Cactus Store, HVW8 Gallery, Foxhole, and more.

No matter how stark their differences may be, how varied their music is to the unwitting ear, how unmatched the vendors’ ingredients, how disparate the fashion sense, one thing is for certain: everything goes down a lot smoother with an ice cold Bud.
