Billie Eilish dropped live sessions today of “you should see me in a crown,” “bellyache” and “when the party’s over,” a result of her participation in the Vevo LIFT series. Eilish was 14 when her debut single, “Ocean Eyes,” became an overnight sensation. Now 16, the pop newcomer has graced the ears of millions of listeners, earning over 750 million combined steams on her debut EP “dont smile at me,” but she has also received praise from those within the music industry, like Vevo. In 2017, Eilish was named one of Vevo’s “Artists to Watch,” featuring special interviews and performances of her breakout material, and their support continues today as she has become part of the LIFT series. Akin to MTV in the 1990s, Vevo LIFT champions fresh up-and-coming artists, advocating for undiscovered talent. Past Vevo LIFT alumni include Sam Smith, Khalid, SZA and Julia Michaels "We have been following Billie's career for some time at Vevo, and it has been a pleasure to be part of her journey since we named her as one of our 'Artists to Watch' in 2017,” Vevo Head of Content JP Evangelista told _Billboard_. “Her Vevo LIFT content gives fans a way to connect with her through some truly amazing and unique performances, and we are excited to share these with her fans." Decked in an oversized checkered Chanel tracksuit, Billie Eilish graced a small audience in Brooklyn with the captivating, emotional three-song set. Watch them here:
