Ai Weiwei’s Newest Project, ’Human Flow’ is Near
The idea of Ai Weiwei's new documentary, Human Flow, is to tackle the reality that, “over 65 million people around the world have been forced from their homes to escape famine, climate change and war in the greatest human displacement since World War II."
The film captures refugees in 23 countries, over the course of a year, as they migrate and attempt to build a new life for themselves and their families. Weiwei's newest project may very well be an eye opener for most of us.
The film will be premiering at the Venice Film Festival before hitting theaters October 13.
